The St Mary Cardinal track teams traveled to Brookings for the Scott Underwood Invite at South Dakota State University on Monday, April 7th.
Layla Hanson finished fifth in the long jump at 4.50m. Reagan Griffin placed seventh in the triple jump with a jump of 9.40m. Maddyn LeBrun took seventh in the shot put with a throw of 9.95m. The 4x400m relay team of Emersyn Herber, Addison Libis, Madalyn LaVoy, and Hanson was 11th in a time of 4:37.19. Megan Geraets was 12th in the shot put at 9.29m. Herber also placed 12th in the 200m dash in a time of :28.82.
Logan Bauer placed third in the 200m dash with a time of :23.65. The 4x100m relay team of Thomas LaVoy, Jake Heinitz, Lincoln LeBrun, and Bauer took seventh in :46.09. The 4x400m relay team of LaVoy, Heinitz, Jacob Flemmer, and Bauer finished 10th in 3:47.24. Jake Kopsas was 11th in the high jump with a jump of 5’8″.
