The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals hit the track again on Saturday, April 13th in Garretson for the Jesse James Invite. The girls team finished eighth with 38 points. The boys team finished ninth with 42 points.
Jaycee Tebay took second in the discus and fifth in the javelin. Maddyn LeBrun finished second in the javelin, setting a school record with a throw of 101’7.5″. She also placed fifth in the discus. Elizabeth Vogel finished third in the 3200m run. Reagan Griffin finished fifth in the high jump and triple jump.
Camden Tebay won the 3200m run and placed second in the 1600m run. Matt Heinemann had a fourth place finish in the 1600m run and fifth place finish in the 3200m run. Jaxon Baumberger finished fourth in the high jump. Jacob Flemmer was fifth in the 800m run. Logan Bauer finished seventh in the 200m dash. Lincoln LeBrun was seventh in the long jump. Thomas LaVoy was eighth in the 200m dash, and Gavin Pica placed eighth in the discus.
