The Dell Rapids Quarrier wrestling teams competed in the Dak-12 Conference Tournament in Madison on Saturday, January 20th. The girls team finished fifth with a team score of 43.0 points. The boys team was eighth with 44.5 points.
Rylee Bird earned a first place finish with a 4-1 record. Bailey Credeur and Mikayla Hight both had second place finished with 1-1 record. Chloe Staskywicz finished third with a 2-2 record. Kayleigh Gillette was third with an 0-2 record, and Josie Becker placed fourth with an 0-3 record.
Camden Tebay had a third place finish in the 113-pound class with a 3-1 record. Quinn Carr also placed third win the 175-pound division with a 3-1 record. Carlie Person (120), John Mortrude (138), Breck Evans (150), and Aiden Geraets (215) all had one win each. Charlie Becker (285) also took part in the tournament.
