Both the Dell Rapids Quarrier girls and boys wrestling teams took part in the Floyd Farrand Invitational. The girls tournament was held on Friday, December 29th. Dell Rapids finished eighth with 60 points. The boys tournament was held Saturday, December 30th, and the Quarriers 16th with 43 points.
Rylee Bird finished fourth with a 3-2 record. Mikayla Hight took fourth with a 1-2 record. Kayleigh Gillette also placed fourth with a 1-2 record. Chloe Staskywicz had a fifth place finish with a 3-2 record. Bailey Credeur also placed fifth with a 3-2 record. Josie Becker had an eighth place finish with an 0-3 record.
For the boys team on Saturday, Quinn Carr (190) finished fourth with a 4-2 record. John Mortrude (144) had a fifth place finish with a 4-2 record. Charlie Becker (285) took eighth with a 1-3 record. Charlie Person (120) and Breck Evans (157) each had one win. Zach Grochow (126) and Kane Murphy (150) also took part in the tournament.
