The St Mary’s Cardinal volleyball team won the Warbird Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, September 12th without losing a set. They earned three more match wins to push their winning streak to 10 straight.
The Cardinals cruised through their first match getting a quick straight set win over Marty by scores of 25-9 and 25-10. They then faced Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. St Mary’s won the match by scores of 25-17 and 25-15 to set up a match with the host team. The Cardinals would defeat the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds in straight sets by scores of 25-12 and 25-21.
Emy Herber and Harper Werdel were named to the All-Tournament team for the day.
