The St Mary’s Cardinal cross country team competed in their first meet of the season on Tuesday, September 1st. The Cardinals traveled to Salem for the McCook Central/Montrose Cross Country Invite. The boys team finished seventh with 95 team points. The girls team did not have a team score.
Addy Fiegen finished 12th in 23:01.83. Paige Deuter was seconds behind in 14th place with a time of 23:05.64.
Cooper Libis placed 13th with a time of 18:45.23. Matthew Heinemann placed 18th with a time of 19:07.47. Logan Robinson (33rd) had a time of 20:17.66, and Kade Lutt (61st) finished in 23:07.14.
