The St Mary’s Cardinals competitive cheer team took the top spot in their home invite on Monday, August 25th. The Cardinals hosted Dell Rapids, Elkton-Lake Benton, Deubrook, and Iroquois/Lake Preston.
St Mary’s finished with 160 points. Elkton-Lake Benton took second with 141 points. Dell Rapids was third with 135 points. Deubrook (133.5) was fourth, and Iroquois/Lake Preston (112) finished fifth.
The seniors on the squad were also recognized during a senior night. This year’s seniors are Makyla Buchholz, Rylee Chamley, Stephenie Geraets, Ella Kangas, Madelyn Klein, and Brianna Weiland.
