The St Mary Cardinal boys cruised to another big win on Tuesday, January 28th. The Cardinals rolled to a 74-40 road win against the Deubrook Area Dolphins.
The Dolphins did score the first two points of the game, but that lead was very short lived. The Cardinals finished the quarter outscoring Deubrook 21-2 the rest of the way for a 21-4 lead. They extended the lead to 44-12 by halftime. St Mary kept rolling in the third quarter and led 69-26 heading into the fourth.
St Mary shot 56.6% (30-53) overall in the game, 40.0% (6-15) on three-point shots, and 47.1% (8-17) from the free-throw line. Deubrook finished the game shooting 40.5% (17-42) overall, 21.1% (4-19) on three-point shots, and 2-4 from the free-throw line.
Maverick LeBrun finished with 24 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots. Trevon Beckman had 19 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Trimmier Hanson ended with 14 points. Lincoln LeBrun had seven points and three rebounds. Jake Kopsas had six points, six rebounds, and four steals.
