The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal volleyball team will be led by four seniors and a new head coach in 2024. Kristina Hinrichs takes over as head coach for St Mary this season.
Seniors Megan Geraets, Madala Hanson, Jodie Klein, and Brianna Griffin will lead the Cardinals this year. The team is looking to improve on their 6-20 record from a year ago with strong leadership from the seniors, returning players from last year, and a talented group of incoming freshman.
“We want to win, and my goal for them is to be winners, but at the end of the season if we can say we improved as a team, and we had fun doing it, that is what really matters. There is a ton of potential in our gym, and the girls are working hard in practice to make this season a success,” said Hinrichs.
St Mary will travel to Hendricks, MN to play Estelline/Hendricks on Tuesday, August 27th to start the 2024 season.
