The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal competitive cheer team returns many key members from last year’s team that had a fourth place finish at the state competition. The Cardinals will have 22 members this year, 17 of them returning from last year.
Seniors Addi Libis, Megan Geraets, Aubry Evers, and Lilly Becker will be looked upon to lead the squad.
“I’m looking forward to working with this group of girls! The team has worked very hard in the preseason and is ready to get in front of an audience and start getting the judges’ feedback. We hope to keep improving throughout the season and stay free from injuries,” said head coach Cami Bacon.
