The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal competitive cheer won their final competition prior to the state competition. The Cardinals competed in the Lake Preston Invite on Monday, October 16th.
St Mary finished with a 152.5 points. Deubrook Area finished second with 130.5 points. Elkton-Lake Benton and Iroquois-Lake Benton tied for third with 125 points each. Faulkton Area was fifth with 121.5 points.
The 2023 South Dakota Competitive Cheer State event will be held Friday, October 20th in Sioux Falls.
