The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal girls basketball team cruised to a 67-15 win over the Waverly-South Shore Coyotes at home on Tuesday, December 20th. The Cardinals led from start to finish in the game and had 10 different players score.
St Mary led 29-9 at the end of the first quarter, 44-13 at halftime, and then 59-13 at the end of the third quarter. The Cardinals shot 38% (25-65) overall, 37% (10-27) from three-point area, and 7-9 from the free-throw line. They had a total of 26 team rebounds, 24 team steals, and 19 team assists, while only having 10 turnovers.
Ella Griffin finished with 22 points, two rebounds, three steals, and an assist. Madala Hanson had 11 points, one rebound, four steals, and seven assists.
