The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal volleyball team traveled to Estelline for a match against the Estelline/Hendricks Redhawks on Thursday, October 6th.
The Redhawks won the first set 25-20. The Cardinals responded with a nice 25-18 win to even the match. Estelline/Hendricks then took the next two sets. They won the third 25-17 and then won the fourth 25-15 for the match victory.
Ella Griffin had 13 kills, six digs, and a block. Maya Heinitz had 10 kills, 12 digs, and two ace serves. Brianna Griffin had three kills and two aces. Brianna Lindeman finished with 28 set assists. Josie Baumberger had a team-high 21 digs. Whitney Warwick had nine digs and three ace serves. Madala Hanson had six digs. Megan Geraets finished with two kills and four blocks. Jacey Tebay had two blocks and a kill.
