One day after an exciting win over Castlewood, the Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals traveled to Garretson to play the Blue Dragons on Tuesday, October 4th.
Garretson cruised through the opening set to a 25-9 victory. The Blue Dragons took the second set by a score of 25-14. The Cardinals rallied for a win in the third set by a score of 25-19, but Garretson ended the match with a 25-15 win in the fourth set.
Maya Heinitz had nine kills, 17 digs, and two ace serves. Ella Griffin finished with eight kills. Megan Geraets had six kills and two blocks. Brianna Griffin added five kills, three blocks, and an ace serve. Jayce Tebay had a team-high seven blocks along with two set assists. Brianna Lindeman had 21 set assists and 11 digs. Josie Baumberger finished with 22 digs. Madala Hanson had 14 digs and three ace serves, and Whitney Warwick had four digs.
