Almost everyone at some point has experienced some type of injury. Whether it’s back pain, a sprained ankle, headaches, or radiating pain down your leg chiropractic can help!
Did you know the second most come chronic physical illness is lower back pain? Followed only by headaches which chiropractors treat all the time, too.
The goal of chiropractic is to promote healthy joint function along with proper muscle balance to allow you to live a healthier, more active lifestyle without any pain. With regular adjustments, chiropractic offers a host of preventative health benefits, and is vital for keeping your body balanced, flexible and functioning at its best. Everyone, from growing children to active seniors, can benefit from regular chiropractic care.
Joint Dysfunctions in the spine along with muscle imbalances may eventually lead to symptoms in other parts or joints of the body as well. These symptoms are your body’s only way of letting you know something is wrong. Unfortunately, the absence of pain is not always an indication of health. By the time pain and symptoms appear the problem may have been present for months, even years. The great news is that you can help prevent these types of symptoms and conditions with routine chiropractic care.
Many people only know of the “cracking” when they think of chiropractic but here at ChiroSport we do much more than just the adjustments. One of the most common questions we get asked is, “I think I have really tight muscles can chiropractic help me?” Yes, it definitely can! Many chiropractic clinics focus only on the adjustment and neglect addressing the myofascial adhesions, scar tissue, and muscle imbalances. This works well for some people but the majority of people have some form of muscle imbalance that needs to be addressed as well. Almost every time a person has “tight” muscles on one side of their body this will pull the spine out of alignment as well. By adjusting the spine and performing manual muscle work with either our hands or our Graston tools to break up these myofascial adhesions the muscles can return to a relaxed state which also allows the spine to stay in better alignment.
Now we can’t tell you for sure are my muscles tight because my spine is out of alignment or is my spine pulled out of alignment because of my poor posture and tight muscles. What we can say is they almost always go hand in hand.
Once we address the tight muscles and adjust the spine we’ll also supply you with home exercises that you can perform to help keep those muscles loose and your body moving without pain!
