Beresford Softball Winning Streak Snapped by Tea

The Tea Area Titans snapped a four-game winning streak by the Beresford Watchdogs on Saturday, April 20th.  Tea defeated the Watchdogs 12-0.

After a scoreless first inning, the Titans scored five runs in the bottom of the second.  They would get two more in the bottom of the third and another five runs in the bottom of the fourth.  Beresford was held to just one hit and one walk in the game.

Keely Merrigan had the lone hit, and Lily Seivert drew the walk.  Merrigan pitched two innings and allowed five earned runs on five hits and four walks.  Brynlee Mohning pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed seven runs, five earned, on six hits and two walks.  Rylie Laurvick pitched 2/3 of an inning without allowing a hit.
