Vermillion took an 11-0 win in five innings over the Beresford/Alcester-Hudson 16U Black Sox on Friday, June 23rd.
Vermillion scored a run in the top of the first, four in the second, two in the third, and four more in the top of the fourth for their 11 runs. The Black Sox were held to just one hit in the game, a single by Espyn Klungseth.
Ethan Bovill pitched three innings and allowed seven runs, all earned, on eight hits and four walks with three strikeouts. Klungseth pitched two innings and allowed four runs, one earned, on three hits with three strikeouts.
