The Baltic Bulldog track teams traveled the short distance to Dell Rapids for the Dell Rapids Invite on Monday, May 12th. The girls team finished fifth with 81 points. The boys team placed sixth with 68 points.
Sadey Holt won the 800m run with a time of 5:55.52. Maiya Fredrickson took the top spot in the shot put with a throw of 37’11” and third in the discus with a throw of 116’2″. Daynica Witzel won the long jump with a jump of 15’9.5″ and second in the javelin at 114’7″. The sprint medley relay team of Holly Olson, Emma Albright, Hailey Tiahrt, and Tenley Witzel was second in 4:37.73. The 4x100m relay team of Olson, Madyson Determan, D. Witzel, and Tiahrt was third in :53.92. The 4x200m relay team of D. Witzel, T. Witzel, Determan, and Tiahrt was also third in 1:53.72.
Ben Berg won the 300m hurdles in a time of :43.97. Kellen Artz finished second in the high jump at 6’2″ and third in the 200m dash in :25.15. Gavin Miller was second in the triple jump with a jump of 39’1.25″. The sprint medley relay team of Henry Anderson, Dylan Runestad, Cooper Garry, and Ben Erickson was second with a time of 3:57.06. Jack Wilde finished third in the 800m run in 2:12.96.
