A night after playing the Dell Rapids Quarriers, the Baltic Bulldogs bounced back and earned a 49-27 win over the Parker Pheasants at home on Tuesday, December 17th.
The Bulldogs started the game on an 11-0 run. Parker responded with eight straight points to cut the lead to 11-8, but Baltic finished the quarter on a 5-0 run for a 16-8 lead. The defense for Baltic held Parker to just four points in the second quarter as the Bulldogs extended their lead to 25-12 by halftime. The Bulldogs were able to continue to extend their lead in both of the final two quarters. They outscored the Pheasants 12-7 in the third quarter and 12-8 in the final quarter.
Ben Erickson had 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Cooper Garry finished with 16 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Dylan Runestad added six points, four assists, and three rebounds. Kellen Artz also had six points with four rebounds, and three steals.
