River Dawgs Split Last Two Games

The Baltic River Dawgs split their last two games.  They suffered a loss to Salem on Sunday, June 21st but picked up a win over the Renner Rangers on Tuesday,  June 23rd.

Salem scored the first six runs to lead them to a 13-3 win. They scored two runs in the bottom of the firsts, one in the second, another in the third, and two more in the fifth for a 6-0 lead.  Baltic picked up a run in the top of the sixth.  Salem added two more in the bottom of the sixth for an 8-1 lead.   The River Dawgs got two runs in the top of the seventh, but Salem ended the game on the 10-run rule with five runs.

Jon Wilhelmsen had two hits.  Cael Swanson had a double and an RBI.  Gunner Schultz had a single and an RBI.  Carter Sorenson added a double.  Tyler Groenewold ended with a single, and Dalton Garbers had an RBI.

River Dawgs 11, Renner Rangers 10

The River Dawgs won their first game of the year, 11-10, over the Renner Rangers.  No stats were available for the game.
