The Baltic Bulldog track team competed in the Chester Invitational Meet on Tuesday, April 14th. The boys team took second with 140 points. The girls team was fifth with 87 points.
Sadey Holt won the 1600m run 6:07.25. Hailey Tiahrt took second in the 200m dash in :28.62 and second in the 400m dash with a time of 1:03.00. Reagan Porter placed second in the 3200m run with a time of 15:24.87. Meredith Larson took third in the 3200m run in 15:38.29. Elise Wilde was third in the triple jump with a leap of 29’2″. The 4x200m relay team of Kate Bouman, Marley Lambert, Tiahrt, and Holly Olson was third in a time of 1:56.73.
Dylan Runestad won the 200m dash with a time of :23.41 and won the 400m dash in :51.83. Ben Berg won the long jump at 19’10” and took second in the 300m hurdles in :42.85. Kellen Artz won the high jump with a jump of 6’1″. Gavin Miller placed second in the triple jump with a leap of 36’6″. Trevor Cuperus finished third in the shot put with a throw of 41’10”. The 4x200m relay team of Berg, Henry Anderson, Jax Vrchota, and Runestad placed second with a time of 1:34.76. The 4x400m relay team of Runestad, Artz, Bryce Campbell, and Vrchota also placed second in 3:37.72.
