Baltic Baseball Falls at Home to Tri-Valley

The Baltic high school baseball team suffered a home loss to Tri-Valley on Wednesday, April 23rd.  Both teams scored all their runs after the third inning as Tri-Valley took the win 15-6.

After the first three innings were scoreless, Tri-Valley scored two runs in the top of the fourth.  They added six more in the top of the fifth for an 8-0 lead.  Baltic cut the lead in half with four runs in the bottom of the fifth making the score 8-4.  Tri-Valley had a four-run top of the sixth innings to extend the lead to 12-4.  Baltic got two runs back in the bottom of the inning to make the score 12-6.  Tri-Valley then scored their final three runs in the top of the seventh.

AJ Grunewaldt had three hits, one a double, and an RBI.  Jackson Goehring had two hits and an RBI.  Ryder Siemonsma added a single and an RBI.  Elias Oakley and Cale Roach both had a single.  Jerimiah Davis had an RBI.  Braxton Allen pitched five innings and allowed eight runs, six earned, on eight hits and six walks with four strikeouts.  Isaac Oakley pitched two innings and allowed seven runs, two earned, on four hits and four walks with a strikeout.
