The Baltic Bulldog track team competed in the Jesse James Track Meet in Garretson on Saturday, April 12th.
Daynica Witzel won the long jump with a jump of 15’4.5″ and placed second in the triple jump at 32’8.5″. The sprint medley relay team of Witzel, Madyson Determan, Alexis Kehn, and Hailey Tiahrt took the top spot in 4:34.32. The 4x200m relay team of Kaylee Siemonsma, Daterman, Kehn, and Tiahrt placed second in 1:59.16. Maiya Fredrickson was fourth in the discus with a throw of 98’1″. Elise Wilde placed fourth in the long jump (14’8.75″) and also in the triple jump (29’11.25″).
Henry Anderson won the 200m dash with a time of :23.75 and placed fourth in the 100m dash in :11.40. The sprint medley relay team of Anderson, Dylan Runestad, Cooper Garry, and Ben Erickson won with a time of 3:54.76. The 4x800m relay team of Erickson, Garry, Wilde, and Runestad took second in 9:07.04. Brody Aday was third in the triple jump with a jump of 36’8.25″. Runestad placed third in the 200m dash in :24.31. Garry was also third in the 1600m run with a time of 4:54.36.
