Second and Fourth Quarters Key to Bulldog Boys Win

The second and fourth quarters were key for the Baltic Bulldogs win over the Flandreau Fliers on Tuesday, February 18th.  The Bulldogs took the home win by a score of 52-33.

Flandreau had the advantage at the end of the first quarter, 14-10.  The Bulldogs defense would hold Flandreau to just two second-quarter points.  The defensive effort helped Baltic take a 24-16 lead into halftime.  The two teams were pretty even in third quarter.  Baltic outscored Flandreau 16-14 for a 40-30 lead going into the fourth.  Another strong defensive quarter by Baltic, which held Flandreau to just three fourth-quarter points, helped secure the win for the Bulldogs.

Dylan Runestad had 14 points. Ben Erickson had 13 points and five rebounds.  Kellen Artz finished with nine points, 15 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Benjamin Berg added eight points.  Trevor Cuperus ended with six points, eight rebounds, and three assists.
