The Baltic Bulldog boys ran into a tough Viborg-Hurley Cougars team on Thursday, January 23rd. The Cougars led from start to finish in a 73-53 win.
Viborg-Hurley built an 18-9 at the end of the first quarter. They pushed the lead to 41-23 by halftime. Baltic hung with the Cougars in the third quarter, but were unable to cut into the lead. Viborg-Hurley led 59-40 going into the fourth quarter. The Cougars held a one point different, 14-13, in the final quarter.
Ben Erickson finished with 16 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Kellen Artz had 11 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Dylan Runetsad also had 11 points. Trevor Cuperus ended with seven points and six rebounds.
