Hoops Unkind to Baltic Girls

The hoops were unkind to the Baltic Bulldog girls on Monday, January 13th.  The Bulldogs fell at home to the Tri-Valley Mustangs 70-12.

Baltic finished the game shooting just 3-29 overall, 1-17 on three-point shots, and 5-9 from the free-throw line.  Tri-Valley shot 38% (26-68) overall in the game, 31% (9-29) on three-point attempts, and 60% (9-15) from the free-throw line.

The Mustangs built a double-digit lead, 15-4, by the end of the first quarter.  They were able to extend that lead to 30-9 by halftime.  The Tri-Valley defense held the Bulldogs scoreless in the third quarter, and the Mustangs led 50-9 going into the final quarter.

Meredith Larson had seven points, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Harper Kortemeyer finished with four points and three rebounds.  Caitlyn Pickett had three rebounds and one point.
