The Baltic Bulldog girls hosted the Parker Pheasants and earned their first win of the season at home on Tuesday, December 17th. The Bulldogs got out to a big lead and cruised to a 51-28 victory.
Baltic was on fire from three-point area in the opening quarter and built a 25-6 lead by quarter’s end. Parker was able to cut into the lead in the second quarter. The Pheasants outscored the Bulldogs 12-4 to cut the lead to 29-18 by halftime. The Bulldogs were able to regroup at halftime. They outscored Parker 10-2 in the third quarter to extend their lead to 39-20 going into the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs also outscored Parker 12-8 in the final quarter for the win.
Harper Kortemeyer finished with 16 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Meredith Larson added 15 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Caitlyn Pickett ended with nine points, six rebounds, and three steals. Kaiya Lenders had six points, five rebounds, and four steals.
