Baltic Falls in Final Home Football Game of Season

The Baltic Bulldog football team host the McCook Central/Montrose Cougars on Friday, October 11th in their final home game of the season.  The Cougars built a big lead on their way to a 46-14 win.

McCook Central/Montrose got two scores in the first quarter.  The first touchdown came on a two-yard run with 8:21 left in the quarter.  The second score was on a 24-yard run with 3:28 remaining.  They made one two-point conversion for a 14-0 lead.

The Cougars would get four touchdowns in the second quarter.  They had four rushing touchdowns of 29 yards, 23 yards, 35 yards, and nine yards.  Two of four extra points were made to give the Cougars a 40-0 lead at halftime.

Jackson Goehring scored the first Baltic touchdown with 7:37 to play in the third quarter.  The touchdown was on a one-yard run.  The extra point was no good making the score 40-6.  McCook Central/Montrose added a 72-yard touchdown pass with 8:36 left in the game to extend the lead to 46-6.  Riiker Rogers added a one-yard touchdown run with 3:40 to play in the game.  The two-point conversion was good.

Baltic will end the regular season on the road at Groton on Friday, October 18th.
