Bulldog Football Suffers Loss in Flandreau

The Baltic Bulldog football team traveled to Flandreau for their first road game of the season on Friday, August 30th.  The Fliers defeated the Bulldogs 42-12.

Flandreau scored the first two touchdowns of the game.  They had a 25-yard touchdown pass with 5:16 to play in the opening quarter for a 6-0 lead.  The score remained 6-0 at the end of the quarter.  The Flyers added a 49-yard touchdown pass in the opening seconds of the second quarter.  A made two-point conversion extended the lead to 14-0.  Jackson Goehring broke free for a 53-yard touchdown run with 8:50 to go in the first half to make the score 14-6, but it was all Flandreau from there.

The Flyers got two more scores before halftime.  They had a six-yard touchdown run and a one-yard touchdown run.  Both extra points were made.  Flandreau held a 28-6 lead at halftime.  They extended the lead to 35-6 after a three-yard touchdown run with 6:15 to play in the third quarter.  Each team got one more score in the game.
