Sioux City scored five times in the bottom of the eighth to rally for a 6-5 win over the Baltic River Dawgs on Thursday, June 20th.
After three scoreless innings, both teams scored a run in the fourth for a 1-1 score. The score remained 1-1 until the top of the seventh. Baltic rallied for four runs to take a 5-1 lead. Sioux City, however, had their five-run eighth inning to steal the win.
Myles Rees finished with two hits. Noah S had a single and two RBIs. Jon Wilhelmsen had a hit and an RBI. Ty Schafer, Jackson Boe, and Riley Schultz all had one single each. Colbe Scott added an RBI. Matt White pitched six innings and allowed an earned run on three hits and three walks with three strikeouts. Boe pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed five earned runs on four hits and three walks with a strikeout. Schafer pitched 2/3 of an inning walking one and striking out one.
