The Baltic 16U baseball team, 0-2 in I-29 League play, fell to West Central 17-3 on Monday, June 10th.
West Central scored 11 times in the top of the first inning to put them comfortably in the lead. Baltic got their three runs in the bottom of the third. West Central scored one in the top of the fourth and then five more runs in the fifth before the game ended on the 10-run rule.
Joey Grunewaldt finished with a single and two RBIs. Jackson Goehring had a single and an RBI. Dylan Runested added a hit. Grunewaldt pitched three innings and allowed an unearned run on two hits and a walk with four strikeouts. Braxton Allen pitched one inning and allowed 11 runs, four earned, on six hits and a walk. Aaron Nordbye pitched 2/3 of an inning allowing five earned runs on a hit and three walks.
