Baltic Boys Win, Girls 4th at Chester Track Meet

The Baltic Bulldog boys track team took the top spot at the Chester Track Meet on Tuesday, April 9th.  The boys finished with 133 points.  The girls team had a fourth place finish with 90.5 points.

Daynica Witzel won the triple jump with a jump of 30’8.5″ and a fifth place finish in the triple jump at 14’5.5″.  Elizabeth Hockenberry had a second place finish in the 1600m run with a time of 6:01.15.  Maiya Fredrickson was second in the discus with a throw of 105’0″.  Baylee Breece was fourth in the 300m hurdles in :53.49.  Meredith Larson took fifth in the 1600m run in 6:30.72.  Zoe McGuire was fifth in the high jump at 4’2″.

The 4x400m relay team of Hailey Tiahrt, Alexis Kehn, Sadey Holt, and Tenley Witzel took first place.  The 1600m sprint medley relay team of D. Witzel, T. Witzel, Alexis Kehn, and Tiahrt also finished first.  The 4x400m relay team of Tiahrt, Kehn, Holt, and T. Witzel finished second.

Payton Anderson won the 400m dash (:51.95), second in the 200m dash (:23.19), and third in the 100m dash (:11.65).  Shae Fiala took third in the 400m dash (:54.25).  Cohen McGuire placed third in the 110m hurdles (:16.98).  Kellan Artz was third in the high jump with a leap of 5’11”.

The 4x400m relay team of Fiala, Dylan Runestad, Alex Langner, and Anderson finished first.  The 4x800m relay team of Langner, Mark Ditter, Ben Erickson, and Jack Wilde placed second.  The 4x100m relay team of Braxton Allen, Jackson Westerbur, Henry Anderson, and Bryson Graff also finished second.
