The Baltic Bulldog girls hosted the Canton C-Hawks on Thursday, February 8th. Canton built a double-digit lead in the first quarter and went on to a 51-28 victory.
The C-Hawks held the Bulldog scoreless in the first quarter and led 12-0 by quarter’s end. The Baltic offense was able to get some points on the board in the second quarter. Both teams scored eight points each, and Canton led 20-8 at halftime. The C-Hawks got a bit more separation in the third quarter by outscoring the Bulldogs 15-8 to lead 35-16 going into the final quarter.
Baylee Breece had nine points, three rebounds, and six steals in the game. Caitlyn Pickett ended with seven points and six rebounds. Meredith Larson finished with five points. Kate Bauman had three points, three rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Holland Kortemeyer added two points and disx rebounds.
