A big third quarter run was key to a win for the Baltic Bulldog boys over the Garretson Blue Dragons on Tuesday, January 30th. The Bulldogs took the win 58-39.
After Baltic made the first basket of the game, Garretson went on a 7-0 run for a 7-2 lead. The Bulldogs responded with a 12-0 run for a 14-7 advantage. The first quarter ended with Baltic leading 14-9. The lead stayed right around five-to-seven points in the second quarter. The Bulldogs led 29-23 at halftime. Baltic came out of halftime and outscored Garretson 23-11 in the third quarter to take a 52-34 lead into the fourth quarter.
Jack Erickson had 22 points, four rebounds, and seven assists. Kellen Artz finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, four blocked shots, and two steals. Blake Hookie had nine points. Beau Breece tallied four points, seven rebounds, and five steals.
