Late Run in Second Quarter Gives Chester Win over Baltic Girls

A late run in the second quarter put the Chester Flyers in front of the Baltic Bulldogs and helped them to a 58-46 win on Thursday, January 11th.

Chester led by just three points, 10-7, at the end of the first quarter.  Baltic rallied to tie the game 18-18 late in the second quarter, but Chester made three straight three-point shots for a 27-18 lead.  They ended the first half with a 27-19 advantage.  The Flyers were able to stay in front and led by as many as 20 points in the second half.  Chester led 43-32 at the end of the third quarter.

Three players finished in double figures for the Bulldogs.  Baylee Breece had 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Caitlyn Pickett added 13 points and five rebounds.  Harper Kortemeyer had 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Meredith Larson had three points and three rebounds.
