Elks Get Win over Bulldog Girls

The Baltic Bulldog girls basketball team traveled to Elkton-Lake Benton High School for a game against the Elks on Tuesday, December 19th.  The Elks used a first quarter run to build a lead they would not lose in a 45-32 victory.

The Bulldogs were within a point, 7-6, midway through the first quarter.  Elkton-Lake Benton went on a 11-0 run the rest of the quarter for an 18-6 lead.  The Elks would extend the lead to 28-14 by halftime.  Baltic was outscored 11-6 in the third quarter and trailed 39-20 entering the fourth quarter.  The Bulldogs did hold the Elks to just six points in the final quarter.

Baylee Breece had 18 points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Meridith Larson had six points and four rebounds.  Harper Kortemeyer added four points, four rebounds, and two assists.  Caitlyn Pickett also had four points with seven rebounds.  Holland Kortemeyer and Laci Hillman both pulled down six rebounds each.
