The Baltic Bulldog girls basketball team earned their first win of the season in Parker on Tuesday, December 12th. Both offenses played well, and Baltic took the win over the Pheasants 72-64.
Parker had the first advantage, 15-14, at the end of the first quarter. The score was tied 18-18 with 5:00 to play in the second quarter. Both teams went on little runs, and Baltic ended the first half with a 33-30 lead. The Bulldogs then started the third quarter with an 8-0 run for a 41-30 lead with 5:35 to play in the quarter. They would end the third quarter leading 56-42. Baltic was able to maintain a double-digit lead throughout most of the fourth quarter for the win.
Baylee Breece had 23 points, six rebounds, and five points. Meredith Larson had 15 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Laci Hillman added 11 points and six rebounds. Harper Kortemeyer also had double figures with 10 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Caitlyn Pickett had a team-high 11 rebounds.
