The Baltic Bulldogs hosted the Viborg-Hurley Cougars on Thursday, September 28th and took the match in straight sets by scores of 25-11, 25-13, and 25-11.
The first set started with a 3-3 tie. The Cougars then scored the next three points for a 6-3 lead. The Bulldogs got the set tied again 9-9 and then went on a big run. They scored the next seven points for a 16-9 lead and then went on to win 25-11.
Baltic started the second set on a 7-0 run. They built a 12-4 lead before Viborg-Hurley cut the lead to 13-8. That was as close as the Cougars would get in the second set. Baltic extended their lead to 22-13 and then scored the final three points for the win.
The third set started with another tie, this time 4-4. The Bulldogs then went on a 12-0 run for a 16-4 lead. They would cruise from there to the 25-11 win.
