Two runs by Colton in the top of the seventh handed the Baltic legion baseball team an 8-6 loss on Tuesday, June 27th.
Colton put two runs on the board in the top of the first inning. Hunter Larson and Jose Valadez both had an RBI single, and Matt Muston drew a bases-loaded walk to put Baltic ahead 3-2. Colton retook the lead, 6-3, with a four-run top of the second inning. Baltic tied the game with a three-run third inning. Tate Fuechht had a two-run double, and Gunner Schutlz had an RBI single to make the score 6-6. The game remained tied until Colton scored two runs in the top of the seventh.
G. Schultz and Valadez both had two hits and an RBI. Tayden Hansen had two hits, one a double. Fuecht finished with a double and two RBIs. Muston also had a double and an RBI. Larson added a single and an RBI. Beau Keith and Braxten Allen both had a hit. Hansen pitched three innings and allowed six runs, one earned, on five hits with four strikeouts. Larson pitched four innings and allowed two earned runs on three hits and two walks with two strikeouts.
