Cub Softball Cruises Past Colman-Egan

The Alcester-Hudson Cub softball team cruised to a big 18-1 win over Colman-Egan on Thursday, April 10th.

After a scoreless first inning, the Cub offense got to work.  They scored nine times in the top of the second.  Alcester-Hudson got four more in the third and then had a five-run fourth inning for an 18-0 lead.  Colman-Egan scored one run in the bottom of the fourth.

Jenna Manning had three hits, including a triple and double, with four RBIs.  Paxtyn Moller had three hits, one a double, and four RBIs.  Jaeley Christensen had two singles and two doubles.  Laney Decker also had two hits.  Emma Moller added a single and three RBIs.  Emma Solberg also had a single and two RBIs. Delta Pies finished with a single and an RBI.  Lexi Miller and Ava Kingma both had a single.

Moller pitched all four innings and allowed one earned run on three hits and four walks with seven strikeouts.
