The 44th annual St Mary Carnival and Auction was another big success this year. The event was held on Sunday, April 2nd. Although the final fundraiser numbers are not complete, just this year’s auction almost has matched last year’s event total. Some of the big ticket items this year were six scoop shovels that went for $3,500 each and cedar chests handcrafted by Leonard Dressen.
The winners of this year’s raffles were Todd Brown (TV), Katie Luttmann (4-wheeler), Kurt Heinemann ($5,000 for last person standing), Barb Glazier (hog), and Ann Pierson ($500 gift card bouquet).
