Thomas Bartling, 62, of Canton passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Dougherty Hospice in Sioux Falls after a long and courageous battle with end stage liver disease and liver cancer. Funeral mass will begin at 10:30 am on Monday, September 14, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Salem. Visitation will begin at 2 pm on Sunday with a 3 pm rosary and a 7 pm rosary and prayer service all at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem. Condolences may be left at www.kinzleyfh.com.
Tom is survived by: his mother, Ethel Bartling of Sioux Falls; two daughters, Tammy (Matt) Konz of Dell Rapids, Joni (Cam) Scheier of Salem; grandchildren, Jordan, Parker and Kaden; siblings, Carol (Richard) Steinmetz of Spencer, Richard Bartling of Sioux Falls, Marsha (Leon) Anderson of Wentworth, and Dave (Karen) Bartling of Black Hawk; special friend, Sandy Morrison; and several nieces and nephews.
