Lyman Brown, Jr., 46, Jasper, died Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Pipestone County Medical Center in Pipestone of a heart attack. Lyman Earl Lewis Brown, Jr., was born to Lyman (Lee) and Helen (Van Den Hul) Brown on Sept. 17, 1969 in Sioux Falls, S.D. Later, he moved with his family to Hatton, N.D. where he was raised and attended school.
In 1987, he joined the U.S. National Guards. In 1988, he graduated from Hatton High School. He was married to Vicky Sneft in 1992.
He is survived by his son, Jacob Brown (Kelsey Cossentine), Anoka; step-children, Christine and Joshua Sneft, Anoka; two grandchildren; his parents, Lee and Joy (Shepherd) Brown, Jasper; sister, Dana Anderson (Scott Miller), Dell Rapids, S.D.; step-sisters, Satin (David) Ewing, Jasper and Candi Pittser, Buckley, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen; brother, Ricky; sister, Dawn; grandparents, Earl Brown and Garret and Hermina Van Den Hul.
