The De Smet Bulldog boys earned another home victory after shutting down the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds on Thursday, February 8th. The Bulldogs took the win 52-38.
De Smet built a five-point lead through the first quarter and led 11-6 going into the second. Both offenses struggled to get anything going in the second quarter. The first half ended with the Bulldogs leading 20-14. The Bulldog defense played strong in the third quarter and held the Warbirds to just six points. That helped De Smet increase their lead to 38-20 going into the fourth quarter.
George Jensen had 15 points, seven rebounds, and three rebounds. Kadyn Fast had 10 points. Tom Aughenbaugh added nine points and two assists. Grant Wilkinson finished with eight points and seven rebounds. Trace Van Regenmorter ended with five points, 11 rebounds, and two assists.
