The De Smet Bulldog boys had no trouble with the Colman-Egan Hawks on Friday, January 26th in Colman. The Bulldogs took the win 70-30.
De Smet built a big enough lead in the first quarter for the rest of the game. They led 27-7 at the end of the first quarter. The lead grew to 47-16 at halftime. De Smet would then outscore Colman-Egan 23-14 in the second half.
The Bulldogs shot 57% (28-49) overall, 42% (12-19) from three-point area, and 50% (6-12) from the free-throw line. Colman-Egan shot 28% (11-40) overall in the game, 15% (3-20) from three-point area, and 56% (5-9) from the free-throw line.
Tom Aughenbaugh had 20 points, two rebounds, and four assists. Britt Carlson added 16 points and three rebounds. George Jensen finished with nine points, two rebounds, and two steals. Grant Wilkinson had seven points and six rebounds.
