The Kingsbury County Knights boys and girls wrestling teams competed in the Mid Dakota Monster tournament held in Lyman on Saturday, January 6th.
The boys team finished 14th out of 29 teams with 59.0 points.
Gannon Gilligan was third in the 126-pound class with a 4-1 record on the day. Connor Johnson (215) had a seventh place finish with a 3-2 record. Cody Zell (120) took eighth place with a 2-4 record.
Chase Henriksen (106) and Sutton Murphy (132) both had three wins. Karsten Lerwick (113), Lane Albrecht (132), and Breyten Johnson (190) all finished with two wins apiece. Cutler Davis (113), Donovan Sandven (144), and Marshall Holz (190) all finished with one win. Caden Singrey (113), Kahne Hanson (150), and Deion Harris (165) also took part in the tournament.
The girls team finished 20th out of 34 teams with a total of 24.0 points.
Jaidynn Giedd finished second with three pins and a 3-1 record.
