The Kingsbury County Knights boys wrestling team also took part in the McCook Central/Montrose Invite, but the boys tournament was held on Friday, December 22nd. The boys team placed 14th with a team score of 47.0 points.
Connor Johnson placed fourth in the 215-pound weight class with a 3-2 record on the day.
Cody Zell (120) took sixth place with a 3-3 record. Marshall Holz (190) also placed sixth with a 3-3 record. Chase Henriksen (106) was eighth with a 2-3 record. Sutton Murphy (132) also finished eighth with a 2-4 record. Kaleb Johnson (165) placed eighth with a 1-3 record.
Lane Albrecht (126), Sheldon Balderston (150), and Breyten Johnson (190) all had one win each. Lane Jensen (138), Conovan Sandven (144), Juan Gutierrez (157), and Deion Harris (175) also participated in the tournament.
