The De Smet Bulldogs (17-3) finished their 2022-2023 regular season with a big home win over the Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Raiders, 86-25, on Friday, February 17th. The Bulldogs led 51-18 at halftime and outscored the Raiders 35-7 in the second half.
De Smet shot 46% (32-69) from the field overall, 35% (12-34) on three-point shots, and 91% (10-11) from the free-throw line. The Raiders finished the game shooting 27% (11-41) overall, 14% (1-7) from three-point area, and 2-6 from the free-throw line.
Five players finished in double figures for the Bulldogs. Tom Aughenbaugh had a game-high 23 points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Aughenbaugh tied the school record for made three-point shots at seven in the game. Kasen Janssen had 19 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. Damon Wilkinson had 12 points and 12 rebounds. George Jensen finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Kadyn Fast ended with 10 points, three assists, and three steals.
