The Kingsbury County Knights wrestling team took part in the Mid Dakota Monster Wrestling Tournament held at Lyman High School in Presho on Friday, January 6th. The Knights finished 10th as a team with 101 points.
Dylan Zell (145) placed second with a 4-1 record. Gannon Gilligan (126) had a fourth place finish with a 3-2 record. Breyten Johnson (170) was eighth with a 4-3 record. Cody Zell (113), Blake Jennings (126) and Connor Johnson (195) also all placed eighth with a 2-3 records.
Rogan Albrecht (106) and Tucker Anderson (160) both finished 3-2. Sheldon Balderston (152) had a 2-2 record. Caden Singrey (106), Greyson Nielson (120), and Deion Harris (170) had 1-2 records. Ethan Johnson (138) had a 1-3 record. Lane Albrecht (120), Owen Anderson (126), Kaleb Johnson (132), Donovan Sandven (132), Lane Jensen (132), Kahne Hanson (138), and Marshall Holz (182) all finished 0-2.
