The De Smet Bulldogs flexed their muscles on Monday, December 19th against the Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals. The Bulldogs started the game on a 12-0 run and never looked back in a 68-24 win.
The Bulldogs led 23-6 at the end of the first quarter and extended the lead to 43-13 by halftime. De Smet outscored St Mary 25-11 in the second half.
The Bulldogs finished 48% (29-59) overall, 28% (7-25) from three-point area, and 43% (3-7) from the free-throw line. The Cardinals shot 23% (9-40) from the field, 14% (3-21) from three-point area, and 60% (3-5) from the free-throw line.
Kadyn Fast had 21 points, three assists, and two rebounds. Damon Wilkinson had 13 points and nine rebounds. George Jensen added 11 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Thomas Aughenbaugh had eight points and four rebounds. Trace Van Regenmorter ended with five points.
